Welcome to the MAROTO valley, the largest valley in Polynesia.
Ride your ATV and find yourself in a few minutes in a green natural area. On the way, you can admire no less than ten permanent waterfalls if not almost a hundred in rainy weather. To combine the pleasure of driving your ATV and the visits, we have selected 3 short stops where we will make you discover part of the history of the valley.
After a 16km and a few river crossings, you will reach the village of FARE HAPE, manager of our "MARAE" (ancient places of worship and gathering). ​ During the visit, do not miss to refresh yourself in the many basins or in the small waterfall of the village. ​

On the way back, we will offer you a short picnic break by the water.

Arrived at the heart of the island, we will take a 2km off-road path to reach the VAINAVENAVE car park where we will have to leave our ATV. After a 20-minutes walk, we will arrive at the natural toboggans for a superb slide almost 3 meters high.
This walk requires you to be in good physical condition and additional insurance is recommended to cover you for any risks that may arise during this walk.
It is not recommended for children under 8 years old.
Provide water and closed shoes (if possible water shoes). If there is any doubt about the weather, Tetapua quad Adventures reserves the right to direct the trip to the "Visit the heart of the island" formula for everyone's safety.
